Slum Kids Celebrate Weekend, Spend Quality Time at JP Convention Centre

last Sunday on 5th June 2022, JEWA arranged for a free screening of the movie “Stanley ka Dabba” for around 250+ slum kids along with arrangements for their snacks & meals. A dance program was also arranged for these kids to participate in.

  • A free movie screening was arranged for the slum kids along with snacks & meals by JP Hospital Employee’s Welfare Association (JEWA)
  • PK Man of Odisha entertained these kids giving them unlimited fun & joy with a social message.
  • Different social organizations also attend the above program.

JP Hospital Employee’s Welfare Association (JEWA) has actively been organizing different welfare programs not only for its employee members but for society as well. Towards this last Sunday on 5th June 2022, JEWA arranged for a free screening of the movie “Stanley ka Dabba” for around 250+ slum kids along with arrangements for their snacks & meals. A dance program was also arranged for these kids to participate in.

Mr. Uttam Tandi – The P.K. Man of Odisha entertained the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed his show which also conveyed a social message on road safety. The P.K Man of Odisha was also awarded a memento by the chairman of JP Hospitals Mr.Sanjay Bansal for his Road Safety Awareness Program,  educating people on the benefits of wearing helmets while driving.

Many other social organizations were also present like Adyasa Social Foundation – Ashish Dash (President), Smile Forever Foundation – Santosh Biswal (President), Sector – 4 Basti Orphanage – Minaj Kadir Sha, etc who actively participated in this event. There were approximately This event was conducted at JP Convention Centre at JP Hospitals, Rourkela. The Chairman of JP Hospitals Mr.Sanjay Bansal&Managing Director Dr.Chandan Bansal personally supervised the events and served food to kids, along with the coordinator of this program Mr.Suresh Sharma.

Further, the representative of various social organizations gave a symbolic plant to the Chairman Mr. Sanjay Bansal, on the occasion of World Environment Day. The kids wholeheartedly thanked JEWA and the joy in their eyes, for a fun-day well spent, could be easily seen.JEWA plans to organize many such social activities in near future. The kids were also provided transport facilities for coming to JP Convention Centre & taking them back, by JP Hospital.
