FINAL ASSESSMENT FOR FULL NABH ACCREDITATION DONE FOR JP HOSPITAL

Jaiprakash Hospital, Rourkela has always been trying to upgrade itself for providing quality services to the people, comparable with the best in the healthcare industry. Towards achieving this, JP Hospital has been going for accreditation of quality parameters of the Quality Council of India. After being successfully awarded the NABL accreditation for its quality medical testing & getting Entry Level NABH accreditation, JP Hospital is expected to be awarded a Certificate of Full Accreditation for NABH soon.

NABH, which stand for National Accreditation Board For Hospital & Healthcare Providers, is a constituent body of the Quality Council of India, set up to establish & operate quality accreditation program for healthcare organizations. The NABH Accreditation, which certifies that an institution has achieved certain quality standards, results in high-quality of care and patient safety. The patients are serviced by credentialed medical staff. The rights of patients are respected and protected. Patient satisfaction is regularly evaluated.

This final assessment was done recently by the core industry experts comprising four members, from various parts of the country to assess the JP Hospital’s process & protocols for quality improvement. Some key parameters on the basis of which this final assessment was done were patient care, patient security measures, the internal standard of hygiene, quality of service & efficiency of nursing & other medical staff, etc.

The full and final NABH accreditation will be another milestone not just for JP Hospital but also for the entire Western Odisha, as its commitment to providing quality care at affordable prices shall be reinforced again and will be a proud moment for all.

JP Hospital has a dedicated Quality Department along with a Training & Development (T & D) working towards continual service improvement & regular training of employees for their as well as the hospital’s upgradation.
