World Heart Day Celebrated with a Free Cardiac Health Check-up Camp at JP Hospital – 29th Sept. 2022

World Heart Day was celebrated at JP Hospital Rourkela by JP Cardiac Science Department to create awareness about different cardiac issues and their treatment. The theme of World heart day 2022 is ‘USE HEART FOR EVERY HEART’. The World Heart Federation has created this day to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease (CVD).

The event was marked by a media interaction with JP Cardiac Science Department and followed by a Free Cardiac Health Check-up Camp where people above 50 yrs of age were clinically screened for any cardiac issues and appropriate advice was given by the JP medical team. The number of persons screened for cardiac health was close to 100.

This program was attended among others by the JP Cardiac Science Team comprising veteran cardiologist Dr.G C Patri, HOD of JP Cardiac Science Department Dr. R Pradeep Kumar, Senior Cardiologist Dr.Trilochan Agarwala, Senior CTVS Surgeon Dr. Javid V Sadique along with Dr. D K Mishra CEO JP Hospital, who also felicitated cardiac patients who were successfully treated at JP Hospital, were present. All patients present at the event also shared their treatment experiences at JP Hospital. Media persons were also present and they interacted with JP Cardiac Science Team about various aspects of cardiac ailments and the importance of World Heart Day.
