Jaiprakash Employees’ Welfare Association (JEWA) has been working for the welfare of its employees and their families. It has also been organizing various events to encourage extracurricular activities and build a bond of trust and harmonious working relations among the employees. On the upcoming occasion of the 4th Anniversary Celebration ‘Samarpan 2023’ of Jaiprakash Hospital, Rourkela, which will be celebrated on December 22nd, 2023, JEWA conducted a day-long competitive event on December 17th, 2023 for JP employees and their family members.
The competition was inaugurated by the CEO of Jaiprakash Hospital and JEWA President Dr. Debendra Kumar Mishra by the lighting of the lamp. The various competitions included Fancy Dress, Essay, Mehendi, Rangoli, Drawing (Pencil Sketch), Bollywood Quiz, Song and Solo Dance respectively during which all the employees participated enthusiastically. The prizes for these competitions (first, second and third) will be given to the winners of the respective competition during the Anniversary Celebration on December 22nd, 2023 at Jaiprakash Hospital, Rourkela.
The winners of the Fancy Dress competition were Dishant Chiranjeev Panda, Rekha Pandey and Yaashi Pradhan Behera for first, second and third prizes respectively, for Mehendi Purnima Dash, Suman Maharana and Mamata Nayak got first, second and third prize respectively, for Rangoli Sangeeta Pradhan, Sujata Singh and Prathama Pariksha Parida got first, second and third prize respectively. Avantika Ghosh, Suman Maharana and Akshay Kumar Mohanty bagged first, second and third prizes respectively in the Drawing (Pencil Shade) competition. For English Essay, Monalisa Gochayat, Snehalata Nayak and Seshadri Pandey won first, second and third prizes respectively. Mausumi Das, Smita Mohanty and Aparajita Das got first, second and third prizes respectively for the Odiya Essay competition. Rekha Pandey, Suraj Prasad and Sushmita Topno bagged first, second and third prizes respectively in Hindi Essay. For the Song competition, Md. Sameer, Smita Mohanty and Shatabdi Jena got the first, second and third prizes respectively. In the Dance competition, Antara Burman, Pankaj Suna and Monalisa Gochayat were the winners of first, second and third prizes respectively. Abhishek Choudhary and Sourav Barik, Laxman Murmu and Smita Mohanty and Dr Ashfaque and Anshumala Sahoo got first, second and third prizes respectively for the Bollywood Quiz.
JEWA is also organizing a Grand Fete on December 23rd, 2023 on the occasion of the 4th Anniversary celebration of Jaiprakash Hospital, Rourkela. All are welcome for this Grand Fete which includes a variety of delicious food stalls, a lucky draw with attractive prizes to be won, house, games and multiple other fun activities.
