Like every year, this year Jaiprakash Hospital, Rourkela is celebrating Ganesh Puja in its Amphitheatre premises from 19th September 2023 to 23rd September 2023 organized by Jaiprakash Hospital & Research Centre Employees’ Welfare Association (JEWA). All JP employees – who are members of JEWA – are participating and contributing towards the successful organizing of this JP annual fixture. They all are praying for speedy recovery & well-being of everyone including the patients.
The hospital is celebrating this auspicious Indian festival with complete social norms and culture keeping in mind utmost sensitivity and care of the patients present inside and around the hospital premises. During this five-day festive celebration, the morning and evening ‘Prasaad’ have been sponsored by the various heads of the Departments, Incharges, and senior professionals of different departments. People from different sections of society including patients, attendants and the staff of the hospital are getting together and praying to the God of wisdom, for their and their families’ good health. An evening cultural & musical programme is also being held by JP employees.
JEWA, an initiative of Dr. Chandan Bansal Managing Director of JP Hospital, has been working for JP employee’s welfare and the welfare of the society, especially the needy section.
JEWA has nearly 900 members- one of the most prominent welfare organizations in Western Odisha. Dr. D. K. Mishra President of JEWA thanked all the members for their active participation and assured them of all possible help & assistance for conducting such events – which binds people together – in future. Other members who actively participated were Roopa Banchor Vice President – JEWA, Hardeep Singh General Secretary and other JEWA office bearers & Executive Members.
