DNB & Critical Care Courses Part of JP Academic Curriculum

Jaiprakash Hospital Rourkela is always committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence in education and research for the benefit of humanity as it firmly subscribes to the belief that clinical services supported by medical education & research of the highest quality relevant to the needs of the country should be an integral part of Jaiprakash Hospital.

JP Hospital has also started offering its DNB & ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine) courses for doctors. The diplomate qualification (DNB) awarded by the National Board of Examinations is equated with the postgraduate and post-doctorate degrees awarded by other Indian Universities for all purposes.

DNB/FNB programs offered at Jaiprakash Hospital have 6 different specialties including General Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology comprising 11 Post MBBS DNB seats and 3 Post Diploma DNB seats.

Jaiprakash Hospital can enroll 14 students each year for DNB courses. After Ispat General Hospital(IGH) of Rourkela, Jaiprakash Hospital is the only hospital in the entire Western Odisha to offer DNB courses. There are multiple specialties for which the offered DNB programs are available only at JP Hospital. JPHospital has also applied for more specialties to be included in the DNB programs and also looking forward to starting more medical academic & training courses in the coming days.
