HOD of Critical Care, Dr. Prabir Kumar Roy and his multidisciplinary team of JP Hospital conducted training on Basic Life Support at Guru Nanak Public School, Rourkela. Around 40 teachers/ faculties participated in the programme.
In this programme, the teachers were taught step-by-step procedures & were given hands-on demonstrations on how to perform BLS and first aid, including scenarios pertaining to common emergency scenarios. In future, JP Hospital will conduct such programmes for the public interest, which not only equip the students and teachers with adequate knowledge and awareness but also cultivate a sense of security during emergencies while increasing their confidence in performing BLS and first aid.
